WARM SPICY MULLED WINE RECIPE

A COZY COMBINATION OF WINE & SPICES
- 1 BOTTLE RED WINE
- 2 CINNAMON STICKS PLUS ADDITIONAL STICKS FOR SERVING
- 1/2 CUP SUGAR
- 1 TBS GROUND CLOVES
- 1/2 TBS VANILLA
- 2 STAR ANISE
- 1 ORANGE PLUS ADDITIONAL SLICES FOR SERVING
Pour your wine into a medium sized sauce pan.
Slice one orange and add the slices to the pan.
Add 2 cinnamon sticks, 1/2 cup of sugar, a tablespoon ground cloves (or 6 whole cloves), a half tablespoon of vanilla and 2 star anise.
Bring it to a simmer not a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Simmer gently over low heat for 10 minutes.
Serve warm and garnish with more orange slices and cinnamon sticks.
