Double Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake Mix Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 BOX YELLOW CAKE MIX
  • 1 EGG
  • 1 CUP PEANUT BUTTER MELTED
  • 1/2 CUP MILK CHOCOLATE CHIPS
  • 1/2 CUP REESE’S PIECES CANDY
  • 12 GHIRARDELLI CHOCOLATE SQUARES

Instructions

  • PREHEAT THE OVEN TO 350F. LINE A 9X13” BAKING SHEET OR DISH WITH PARCHMENT PAPER.
  • IN A MEDIUM BOWL, MIX THE CAKE MIX, MELTED PEANUT BUTTER & EGG. I RECOMMEND MICROWAVING THE PEANUT BUTTER FOR 30 SECONDS BEFORE MIXING IT IN.
  • STIR IN CHOCOLATE CHIPS & REESE’S PIECES.
  • SPREAD THE MIXTURE INTO THE PAN & BAKE FOR 20-25 MINUTES.
  • WHILE THE BARS ARE STILL WARM, PRESS INDIVIDUAL GHIRARDELLI SQUARES IN ROWS.
  • ALLOW THE BARS TO COOL COMPLETELY BEFORE SLICING!
