10 Minute Wonton Soup

Ingredients

  • frozen wontons
  • beef broth
  • tri-color coleslaw mix
  • frozen onion cubes
  • frozen ginger cubes
  • frozen crushed garlic cubes
  • sesame oil
  • sesame seeds
  • soy sauce
  • green onion

Instructions

  • START BY ADDING ABOUT A TABLESPOON OF SESAME OIL IN A SMALL SAUCE PAN OVER MEDIUM HIGH HEAT. THESE MEASUREMENTS ARE FOR ONE SERVING. IF YOU WANT TO MAKE 2, 3 OR 4, JUST ADJUST THE QUANTITIES ACCORDINGLY!
  • AFTER ABOUT 2-3 MIN, ADD ONE CRUSHED GARLIC CUBE OR 1-2 CHOPPED GARLIC CLOVES & 1 FROZEN ONION CUBE. 
  • THEN, ADD THE WONTONS. I USED 8 MINI WONTONS. IF YOU'RE USING LARGER POTSTICKERS, ADD 3-4. POUR IN YOUR BEEF BROTH TO COVER THE WONTONS - ABOUT 2 CUPS. OPEN UP YOUR BAG OF COLESLAW MIX & ADD A HANDFUL.
  • WHILE YOU WAIT FOR THE BROTH TO COME TO A BOIL, ADD ONE CRUSHED GINGER CUBE, ABOUT A TABLESPOON OF SOY SAUCE. SLICE YOUR GREEN ONION & THROW THE WHITES INTO THE POT. BOIL FOR ABOUT 5 MINUTES, OR UNTIL THE WONTONS ARE COOKED THROUGH.
  • SERVE & TOP WITH THE GREEN SIDE OF THE SLICED GREEN ONION & SOME SESAME SEEDS. IF YOU WANT A LITTLE KICK, ADD SOME SRIRACHA.
