Berries and Cream Crescent Bars

Ingredients

  • 2 cans of crescent rolls
  • 7.5 oz container of whipped mixed berry cream cheese
  • 1 cup raspberry jam or your favorite berry flavor
  • 2 tbs melted butter
  • ¼ cup sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°. Lightly spray a baking dish or cookie sheet with cooking spray, or line with parchment paper.
  • Unroll 1 can of crescent dough, and press it into the bottom of the prepared pan. Brush with a little butter & bake for 10 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven & spread your cream cheese evenly over the top of the baked dough. Then add dollops of jam on top and spread. I like to leave the jam in bigger “blobs” so you get bites of jam rather than evenly spreading it across the top.
  • Unroll remaining can of crescent dough on top. Brush with the remaining butter and sprinkle with sugar.
  • Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool for at least 15 minutes before cutting into squares to serve. Bonus tip: you can also reheat each individual square in a toaster oven for a couple of minutes to serve warm!
