Let’s be honest, talking about your budget is probably the least glamorous part of wedding planning. There are tons of ways you can save money when planning a wedding – from DIY decor to limiting your guest list. But the last thing any bride wants to do is make a sacrifice when it comes to her wedding dress. The good news is, you don’t have to! If you’re looking for some inexpensive options, I’ve tracked down some awesome wedding dresses under $100 on Amazon!
WEDDING DRESSES UNDER $100 ON AMAZON
Someone recently asked me how much a wedding dress normally costs. Which is almost impossible to answer. They can range anywhere from $50 – $20,000. It all just depends on where you’re shopping, what designer you’re looking for & a handful of other factors.
But just because you can’t spend $10,000 on a dress, doesn’t mean there aren’t a ton of affordable dresses on the market. There are dresses that fit just about every style, shape and size. And I wanted to take the challenge of finding 3 wedding dresses on Amazon, all under $100.
There were a few I had my eye on that were just over $100, but that would defeat the purpose of the experiment. I ordered 3 different dresses, all different styles. That way, I could compare and see whether or not there really are options for everyone under $100.
The results were actually really surprising: all three dresses I ordered fit. And all of them actually looked amazing. I made my decisions based on reviews & uploaded photos. Not just to determine the quality, but the fit & correct sizing.
The verdict: affordable bridal gowns exist! And they’re stunning! Here are the three dresses I ordered, plus a ton of other wedding dresses under $100 I found on Amazon!
Dress #1:
For reference on sizing & fit, I’m 5’7″ and have a fairly straight frame. I’m about 115 lbs & size 34 B. I have a shorter torso and generally wear a size small, 25 or 26 jean or size 2 to 4 in dresses.
Dress number one! This long, tulle v-neck dress is sooo sparkly! The product description says it’s a “formal/evening/bridesmaid” gown. But this is allllll wedding dress in my book.
Size & Fit
I ordered a size 4. It fit pretty true to size. I probably could have ordered a size 2. But I always feel like it’s better to order on the larger side, that way you can have it altered to fit perfectly.
What I like
I was pleasantly surprised by how pretty this dress was. It definitely checks the “princess dress” box. I love the combination of tulle & sparkles. And it has really pretty beaded stone detailing.
It’s an empire waist, which I normally steer away from because I have have a short torso, but it actually worked. I also love that it has a built in bra.
It looks exactly like it does in the pictures on Amazon! It comes in other colors too, so if you’re looking for a non-bridal special occasion dress, it’s a great option.
What I Don’t Like
One complaint I have is with the bra. I like that they have it, but it was a bit bulky for my taste. If you’re smaller chested, it would probably be better to remove the padding & add your own or just add a liner.
If I was going to wear it “officially”, I would probably have it it altered slightly, just to narrow the straps slightly and take it in a bit in the waist.
Price
You can’t beat the price! It can also be custom made using your own measurements. So if you have a little extra time, it’s totally worth it! They have 126 color options as well.
This dress definitely exceeded my expectations – for just under $100 it’s a beautiful dress and amazing deal.
Dress #2
I originally bought this dress for under $80. But when I went to find the link for you guys, found the same dress for… wait for it… UNDER $20!
This lace dress is so pretty! I love mermaid style dresses, so I was so excited to try this one on!
Size & Fit
This dress comes in traditional white & ivory. The one I got is white. I ordered a size small / 4. It was a bit large on me, which would be ok if I was going to wear it because it could easily be altered to fit perfectly.
WHAT I LIKE
The lace fabric was really pretty. It was actually a higher quality/thicker fabric than I expected. Like the first dress, it also has a built in bra. Super convenient.
I love the plunging back & mermaid style train. It was figure flattering and felt amazing.
What I Don’t Like
The photos they used in the listing are a little deceiving. The lace pattern is a bit different & the cut is slightly higher. Both the neckline and back are higher than they appear in the photos.But, I think these could easily be adjusted if you had the dress altered.
It was also a bit large in the waist – another small issue that could easily be fixed. Especially for the price.
Price
For real… this dress only costs $15. So no matter how weird it might fit, you could pay to have it altered and it would STILL save you money. If you’re on a budget & looking for a chic, curve hugging, mermaid gown… this is your answer!

Okayyyyy… so much YES!
I’m obsessed with this dress guys. It has everything I love – mermaid fit, sequins & a sheer elements.
Size & Fit
I ordered a size small and it fit perfectly. I love that it’s a bit long – but could easily be hemmed depending on your height.
It also comes in a few different variations, colors & a sleeveless option.
What I Like
I love everything about this dress. I didn’t expect to like a dress with sleeves, but love that it’s off the shoulder.
The floral/geometric print is accented with sequins that look way more expensive than anticipated. It fits like a glove & would probably fit even better if I threw a pair of spanx on.
What I Don’t Like
I can’t think of anything! It’s a beautiful dress and probably my top pick, for my style and body type!
