Travel Beauty Must Haves
Travel Beauty Must Haves
Whether I’m traveling across the world or heading out for a quick weekend beach vacay, a carefully crafted Dopp kit is key. In case you didn’t know, Dopp is the official (very pro) term for a bag of travel essentials!
The first few times I traveled, I packed sample sized shampoo/conditioner, lotion & toothpaste. But it’s 2018… and I cannot survive on subpar beauty products! Kidding, I can. You guys know I love my drugstore bronzers & moisturizers. But why would I want to? There’s no need to skip your beauty routine while you travel.
I travel quite a bit, so I’ve handpicked some of my favorite travel beauty products to share with you guys! Even better? You can throw them all into your carry on because they’re TSA approved!
My List Of Travel Beauty Must Haves
ORIBE Gold Lust Dry Shampoo
Dry shampoo is a life saver. ORIBE dry shampoo is like, God’s gift to dirty hair. My hair get’s majorly depressed on airplanes. Not to mention using random foreign shampoos totally messes with my hair’s body. I usually don’t wash my hair as often when I’m traveling, so a quick spritz of dry shampoo helps absorb product buildup, oil and impurities.
Clinique Moisture Surge Face Spray
I suffer from majorly dry skin. Especially when I travel. Whether I’m flying, driving or on a tour bus, my skin tends to dry out and get dull. I love Clinique’s Moisture Surge Face Spray because it’s like a quick shower for your face.I spritz my face for an instant boost of moisture. It’s lightweight but still super moisturizing without being greasy. I also use it after my toner, then follow up with a serum.
Trish McEvoy Lip Perfector Conditioning Balm
One of my favorite things about Trish McEvoy’s lip balm is that it’s two products in one. Not only is it a lip balm that soothes dry lips, but it has hint of tint and boosts the structure of your lips. Meaning it’s the perfect balm to throw on when traveling! It keeps my lips soft and also adds a little boost of color!
100% Pure Bright Eyes Masks
Skip the puffy eyes and throw on these brightening eye masks! If you’re like me, the second you get on a plane your face puffs up. My eyes always look so tired and have the worst dark circles under them after flying. They’re individually packaged, so you can throw them into your carry on and put them on while you fly. They’re packed with hyaluronic acid, aloe vera and caffeine, which helps minimize swelling and dryness while plumping fine lines and wrinkles.
It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream
I’ve told you guys about my favorite It Cosmetics CC+ Cream before. I use it every day, rain or shine, at home or on the road. It’s the perfect amount of coverage and also protects your skin with SPF 50+! I love that it’s a color correcting CC cream, so it camouflages blemishes and dark spots, without feeling heavy or caky. I notice my skin is more hydrated when using it too. I apply 1-2 pumps with my finger tips and apply it just like moisturizer.
YSL Makeup Palette
YSL’s Limited Edition Makeup Palette is GOLD! It comes with a highlighter, three eyeshadows, an eyeliner and two blushes. I love that everything is conveniently in one, compact case, making it an easy all in one travel palette. The blushes double as lip colors and the black shadow can also be applied as a smokey eyeliner! It’s easy to use and easy to throw in your bag.
Spacemask Heated Eye Mask
Ok, these eye masks are a total game changer. They’re self heating jasmine eye masks, meaning they get warm and sooth your eyes! They’re literally the most amazing travel hack, relieve tiredness & eyes strain. I like to put them on when I’m getting ready for bed because they help me relax while helping soothe my eyes.
Diptyque Solid Perfume
Let’s talk about a MAJOR game changer… solid perfume! GENIUS! This solid perfume is perfect for traveling because you won’t wind up with a broken bottle or any spills in your suitcase. I love the scents, but more than anything love that I can put it in my purse and dab on a bit for a quick refresh.
OUAI Rose Hair & Body Oil
Finding products that have multiple uses is one of my fave travel hacks. This hair & body oil works two ways. It’s a blend of Absinthium, Shea, and Rosehip Oil that works to nourish and protect, lock in moisture, and leave a glowing finish to your skin and hair. I apply a pump onto the ends of my hair before styling to prevent heat damage and also rub a thin layer onto my skin to hydrate. Even better? It smells great, so if you forget your perfume just apply to your pulse points!
Hair Scrunchies
I love a good top bun. I’m not the type of girl who can just have their hair flowing on a flight. I have to put my hair up, so having a few scrunchies is essential. I like these ones because they’re cute & stylish, adding a pop of color to my outfit!
Kopari Coconut Milk Body Oil
I literally don’t leave home without my coconut milk body oil. I use it every single time I get out of the shower and on my hands and feet before bed. I love that it’s a lightweight mist, making it really easy to apply. A little goes a long way, so the bottle should last you a while. It smells amazing and will leave your skin silky smooth!
