Just about everyone uses a daily facial moisturizer, but it can be difficult to figure out what kind to buy and not break the bank, so I’ve compiled a list of the best drugstore moisturizers.
Since I have fairly dry skin, I use moisturizer twice a day. Since I use it so regularly, it’s important for me to find budget friendly options. I’m here to tell you, you don’t have to spend $500 on some lavish, gold infused moisturizer. You can easily stop by your local drugstore and pick up an option that will get the job done.

I’m a huge fan of Aveeno products. This moisturizer is great if you have any dark spots or scars from acne. It uses Total Soy Complex, which helps give you smoother, softer skin. CeraVe Ultra-Light Moisturizing Face Lotion with Sunscreen
CeraVe was developed by dermatologists to help moisturize your skin while provided SPF 30 coverage! Hello sunscreen! I really like that this moisturizer has a matte finish, so it doesn’t leave your skin looking and feeling oily before putting on makeup. It also has Hyaluronic Acid, which helps your skin stay moisturized for longer.
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream
Neutrogena Hydro Boost is great for extra dry skin. It’s a gel formula, which helps quench extra dry skin, keeping it smooth and hydrated. I really like the unique water gel formula because your skin absorbs it quickly, like a gel, but moisturizes like a cream.
Like the CeraVe, it has Hyaluronic acid, leaving you with healthier looking, smoother skin. It’s also oil, dye and fragrance free, which is great if you have sensitive skin. I also really like that it doubles as a foundation primer!
Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturizer
Cetaphil is one of my go to, tried and true brands. There’s a reason it’s so popular, it’s great for every skin type! This fragrance free moisturizer has SPF 15 and hydrates your skin while also improving skin texture. If you’re not 100% sure what kind of skin you have, or have sensitive skin, this is a great product to start with.
Olay Complete All Day Moisturizer Sensitive Skin
Fun fact, Olay Complete All Day Moisturizer is America’s #1 UV moisturizer! That’s a great place to start, right!? The best way to protect against aging skin is by preventing damage from sun, aka daily SPF. This moisturizer has SPF 15 for sensitive skin. I like that it’s really gentle and lightweight, it’s also fragrance free! The formula also includes vitamin E and aloe, which help your skin healthy, moisturized and hydrated. Since it’s oil-free, your skin won’t feel greasy.

Most of the time, I prefer wearing a tinted moisturizer. Rather than wearing a ton of makeup, I like that a tinted moisturizer gives a “no makeup look”, rather than full coverage like foundation. Depending on what you’re looking for, there are a ton of tinted moisturizers, B.B. creams and C.C. creams at every drugstore.

I recently started using Olay Complete All Day Moisturizer with Broad Spectrum SPF 30, also formulated for sensitive skin! It’s gentle and super lightweight, leaving your skin with a healthy glow.
