Imperial Sand Dunes Engagement Photos – Erin & Tony Perry
Happy one year of being engaged my love! I’m so excited to share part one (of three) of our Imperial Sand Dunes engagement photos session with our good friend and amazing photographer Adam Elmakias.
We drove out to the beautiful Imperial Sand Dunes to take these beautiful photos. Tony, Doug, Adam & I rented an SUV and drove out past the Chocolate Mountains in Imperial County, through the old train stop of Glamis.
The location is often referred to as the Glamis Sand Dunes or The Algodones Dunes. It was such an amazing day and I’m so happy that we have these photos and memories to look at today and for the rest of our lives.

A little backstory…
For those of you guys who don’t know our story, I wrote a blog post last summer when we got engaged. All about our engagement trip to Cabo and how we met. I can’t believe we met over 7 years ago!
Today marks the one year anniversary of when Tony proposed on the beach in Mexico and our 7th annual trip to Los Cabos together. Sadly we can’t be in Mexico right now, but will definitely take many trips to make up for it in the years to come.
Adam is one of the most talented photographers. Tony and Adam met when he toured with Pierce the Veil as their touring photographer. Over the years, they stayed friends and when Tony & I met, I became friends with Adam too.
Not only is Adam insanely creative and talented, he’s one of the most genuine, kind & down to earth people we know. So it seemed only fitting to ask him to take our engagement photos.
I feel like it was so much more natural and meaningful having someone we know, that also knows us as a couple, take our photos.
PS, here is a link to the red dress! It literally cost under $50!
