DIY SKULL WREATH
YOU GUYS KNOW WE GO ALL OUT DECORATING OUR HOUSE FOR HALLOWEEN. ONE THING I LOVE ABOUT OUR HALLOWEEN DECOR IS THAT A LOT OF IT FITS YEAR ROUND AND INTO CHRISTMAS.
WE’RE GOING FOR A NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS VIBE THIS YEAR, SO MOST OF OUR DECORATIONS WILL STAY UP THROUGH DECEMBER.
THIS DIY SKULL WREATH IS DEFINITELY GREAT FOR DECORATING YOUR FRONT DOOR FOR HALLOWEEN. BUT IT’S JUST CHIC ENOUGH THAT YOU CAN TOTALLY USE IT YEAR ROUND.
DIY skull wreath supplies
- artificial wreath
- artificial roses
- plastic skulls
- black spray paint
- gold spray paint
- hot glue gun & hot glue
How to make your wreath
Start by setting up a space to spray paint. i recommend a well ventilated area (outside is best).
spray the wreath with black spray paint. i did a few coats and flipped it over to make sure it was well covered. you can choose whatever paint colors you want though!
spray paint the skulls gold (or black or any color you want).
while they’re drying, snip the stems off of the fake roses. you can also spray paint them if you want them to be a different color. i opted to keep some of them red so that the wreath could be used after halloween too.
after everything is dry, use your hot glue gun to place roses & skulls around the wreath. once the hot glue is dry, hang it on your door or use it as wall decor!
i ordered my supplies from amazon, but you can find the same items at stores like the dollar tree or target.
