I love, love, love Amazon. So it shouldn’t be a huge surprise that I plan on doing the majority of my Christmas shopping this weekend on Amazon too! Next to Amazon Prime Day, Black Friday & Cyber Monday offer some of the best discounts on Amazon.
I read recently that last year, Amazon purchases accounted for HALF of all online Black Friday sales, and Cyber Monday last year was Amazon’s biggest shopping day in history. It makes sense, Amazon is literally the easiest place to shop online and makes price comparison easy. Even better? You can get free Prime shipping & gift wrapping done for you!
How to Find Amazon Black Friday & Cyber Monday Deals
All of the Black Friday & Cyber Monday deals are listed on Amazon and their app. You can search by limited time deals, filter by department, there’s a timer showing when each deal expires, and when sale items are running low, a meter revealing how many have already been claimed.

How to Use the Amazon App to Shop Deals
You can actually shop the Sneak Peek page on the Amazon app to get an early look at what products will be on sale for both the Black Friday and Cyber Monday weeks. It will also show you the current prices (before going on sale). You can also use the “Watch a Deal” feature and you’ll be automatically notified when the deal on it is about to start.
Another awesome way to shop is by using the camera-search feature. Basically, you take a picture of any barcode in a store to check to see if Amazon sells it. That means, if you’re out shopping you can make sure you’re getting the best deal!
There’s also an augmented reality feature that lets you virtually put products into your home to see what they’ll look like!
Just like with Amazon Prime Day, you can get exclusive deals using Alexa on Echo devices! The early-access Black Friday deals exclusive to Alexa users are listed here, and for Cyber Monday, early voice- hopping deals begin at. All of the Alexa specific deals are exclusively for Prime members.
Why You Should Sign Up for Amazon Prime
Amazon Prime members always get free two day shipping, while the free shipping for non members normally takes longer, so it’s worth signing up for a 30-day free Prime trial this week or next if you don’t already have it. Prime members also get exclusive access to Lightning Deals, available for only limited periods of time online and on the app.
Prime members also get extra discounts and cash back rewards for opting for “no rush” shipping. You can get everything from Amazon credits to discounts on your next purchase!
