Revolve Festival: The 411 on Coachella’s Best Party
As a lot of you remember, I used to go to Coachella every year when I worked in the music industry. It was a long, hot, dusty weekend filled with walking, talking & hustling. After I left my job, I needed to take a little Coachella-hiatus. It’s a different world when you’re working on the other side of a party. You’re not drinking, you’re not hanging out with friends, you’re not relaxing while listening to your favorite bands. A lot of people couldn’t believe I left my job “going to concerts”, but like everything – there comes a time when you get maxed out.
Fast forward to this past weekend. I finally ended up back in the desert. Spring is officially the beginning of festival season. In the US, it all starts with Coachella. Every year, Coachella grows. When it first began, it was only one weekend. Because of demand, they’ve had to expand it to two back to back weekends. I think it’s pretty safe to say that Coachella is one of the most popular festivals, as well as social events of the year. Hundreds of thousands of people come from all over the world to attend the festival… and the parties!
Coachella is obviously the main draw for attendees, but there are tons of side parties that have become equally as sought after. There are tons of parties, but the best event of the weekend is hands down the Revolve Festival. Why? Here’s a rundown of what makes the Revolve Festival the hottest party in the desert.
The 411 on the Revolve Festival
Alright, so for starters… the Revolve Festival is put on by Revolve – my go to website for online shopping. Revolve has tons of trend forward women’s and men’s clothing, shoes & accessories. Chances are, if you tap on one of my IG pics to see what I’m wearing, it’s from Revolve. Even though theres a ton of fun stuff to do, see & hear on the Coachella grounds, the Revolve party is where you want to be if you’re a fashion lover. The party is held during weekend one – on both Saturday and Sunday.
The Merv Griffin Estate
A lot of people have asked me where the party was at. About 5 minutes from the festival, the late Merv Griffin’s epic estate in La Quinta is the quintessential party setting. It’s set on a 39 acre Equestrian property, featuring a 2.5 acre pond, infinity pool, bocce ball court, massive lawn & equestrian racetrack & ultra lux decor.
The party had a massive stage set up for performers by the pool, cabanas for party guests to lounge at, drinks, food, swings & tons of epic photo opps. I loved that Venus et Fleur created the most beautiful flower walls – they made the perfect backdrops for photos (and smelled amazing)!
This year at the Revolve Festival, there were a ton of epic performances, including A$AP ROCKY, 21 Savage, YG, Rich The Kid, Warren G, Rick Ross & Chance the Rapper.
Revolve Festival Food
Let’s get down to business… the food and drinks at the Revolve Festival were next level. My favorite detail was the Postmates x Skinny Bitch Pizzas. Not only is their branding on point, the cauliflower crust pizza was the perfect party snack. They also had the cutest Amaze Bowls– super refreshing and perfect for the IG. For drinks, there was a Heineken tent, Champagne provided by Moet & Chandon, and a CÎROC vodka bar that featured Bai cocktails.
Revolve Festival Fashion
The highlight of the festival was definitely the fashion & seeing everyones killer outfits. I conveniently stopped in at #hotelREVOLVE to do a little shopping before heading out to the estate. I picked up some killer pieces for summer. Revolve is the best place to shop summer styles and festival fashions, for everything from bohemian dresses, rompers & blouses to the perfect pair of cutoff shorts.
I opted for a striped, off the shoulder dress from House of Harlow 1960 (Nicole Richie’s line with Revolve) with a cute, edgier pair of studded Raye sandals. My sunglasses are sold out. Luckily Le Specs makes a similar pair still.
My other outfit was perfect for the night as it started cooling down. My yellow woven Tularosa sweater is officially my new favorite piece for summer. It gives me major boho vibes. I also love the striped Lovers + Friends dress I picked up to wear with it, the lace up back details are so cute.
