Revenge of the Makeup Addict: Samples Galore

For anyone who isn’t familiar with Sephora, they have an epic Beauty Insider’s program that let’s you unlock deals and sample offers with every purchase. The more money you spend, the more points you earn, the more free samples you get!
I do all of my shopping online through sephora.com because they send you 3 free samples with every order. On this monumental occasion, I also got a Birthday Sample Kit & Holiday Sample Kit included in my order.
In addition to my Make Up Forever Foundation and Powder, I got allllll of these amazing samples to check out. Normally I save them up for travel, but I was bored and tried them all out throughout the week.
Here are my top 5:
1. Soap & Glory, Smoothie Star Body Buttercream Not only is this body butter (or lotion as I like to call it in the real world) super hydrating, it smells like cookies and vanilla and ice cream combined! I love that when you use it, not only does your skin feel extra moisturized, you don’t need to use perfume!
2. Agave Oil Treatment I love how lightweight this is and started using it on my hair when it’s still damp. Unlike a lot of other hair oil, this is really easy to use and doesn’t make your hair look greasy. My hair has a tendency to be really dry, especially during the winter and this really helped.
3. Smashbox, Iconic Photo Finish Foundation Primer I’ll be the first to admit that I’ve always thought that primer was kind of a gimmick or waste of money. Oddly enough, I actually used this under BB Cream and really liked the finish. I tried it again with my foundation and it gave me kind of a ‘soft focus’ look.
4. Marc Jacobs, Daisy I have been using Hanae Mori religiously for the past few years and don’t anticipate changing, but I really like how light and fresh Daisy is. It’s definitely fun for a change up and to bring when traveling.
5. DERMAdoctor, KP Dut Body Scrub By far my FAVORITE sample. I already bought a tub and am counting down until it arrives. This body scrub combines a chemical peel and microdermabrasion, leaving your body silky smooth! I highly recommend this if you have dry skin!
