No Bake S’mores Bark
When has anyone EVER passed up a S’more? Ok I’m sure there are a few people. But in all honesty, I live for all things S’morelated. Get it…S’more Related!
So maybe you’re asking yourself, “Erin, wtf is bark?”. Well friend, bark is a giant slab of chocolate loaded with treats. You may be familiar with the oh so popular “peppermint bark” from the holidays? If not, I’m about to give you a one way ticket to S’moreville and you’re never going to want to come back.
This recipe is super easy. All you need are the following ingredients:
I made this snazzy video for any of you visual learners out there…
I’ve been keeping my Chips’ in the freezer lately because it’s been pretty warm out. So excuse the discoloration. They still taste exactly the same. They’re just extra crunchy & cold!
Here are your directions:
Step One: You’ll need 2 Cups of Dark Chocolate Chips & 1 Cup of Butterscotch Chips combined. Split them up and microwave half of the chips in a microwave safe bowl. I recommend doing 30 second intervals. The trick is to not over cook or your chocolate will get kind of crusty and gross.
Step Two: Line a pan (or baking dish) with parchment paper. I used a small 9 x 12″ sheet pan. You can use whatever size you want. When I spread my melted chips out, it didn’t reach the edges. Don’t spread it too think or you’ll bark will break. Pop the pan into the freezer for about 10 minutes (or until it’s hard).
Step Three: Melt 1/2 cup of White Chocolate Chips in the microwave (using the same technique above). You don’t want them to be completely melted, but just on the verge. Then mix in 1 cup of Marshmallow Fluff. Mix it well. It’s going to be super thick & sticky. Aka super delicious.
Step Four: Pull your pan out of the freezer and gently spoon the Fluff mixture over the top. I used a small spatula to spread it around. Then take a few (I used 4) Graham Crackers and crunch them up over the top, pressing them into the fluff. Freeze again for about 10 minutes.
Step Five: Melt the rest of your Chocolate/Butterscotch Chips (same tactic) and pour it over the top of the semi-frozen Fluff/Graham layer. Be gentle. Make some more Graham crumbs and sprinkle them over the top! Freeze (again I know) for about 15 minutes or until its completely solid.
Step Six: Pop the bark out of the pan and break it into pieces. I use a piece of parchment paper on top to keep it clean (and keep my finger prints off of it all). I recommend storing it in an airtight container or ziplock bag in the freezer.
