Music is Good for Your Soul: It’s Science
Alright, so yesterday’s self improvement prompt was to listen to your favorite album. You’re probably thinking, that’s easy… I already do that every day. Or, how is listening to my favorite music going to improve my thought process?
Well… I’m about to drop some knowledge bombs y’all.
Did you know there’s more to liking music than just a catchy verse or lyrics? Basically, there are tons of receptors in your brain that respond to different parts of music, which determine what we each like.
Also… did you know that Music uses more parts of your brain than any other thing people do!? Over time, music can help improve your language skills, creativity & happiness! It can also help decrease anxiety, speed up healing, improve optimism and decrease pain!
So, moral of the story is that if you’re trying to improve yourself, your thoughts, or your general outlook on life, listen to more of your favorite music!
