You guys know I love a good celeb recipe. I mean, I’m hooked on Jennifer Aniston’s salad recipe. And I’m majorly obsessed with Meghan Markle’s chia seed pudding. So when I started looking for 4th of July recipes and stumbled upon Jessica Alba’s red, white & blue popsicles… I obviously had to try them out.

I love Jessica Alba. She’s a major boss babe with the most insane business empire. Not to mention she looks damn good. So I will 100% take whatever she is having. And if by any chance her popsicle recipe plays a roll in her perfect skin, I’ve gotta have them!

JESSICA ALBA’S Recipe for RED, WHITE and BLUE POPSICLES

Jessica Alba is a major fan Hollywood health coach Kelly LeVeque. Kelly is the mastermind and certified nutritionist behind Well + Good. One takeaway from researching the diet is that Jessica starts every day with a smoothie. So it wasn’t a huge surprise when I realized her popsicle recipe is pretty similar to a 3 part smoothie. But instead of drinking it, you free the layers in a popsicle mold.

Jessica Alba’s Recipe for Red White & Blue Popsicles

Ingredients

  • Organic plain or vanilla yogurt
  • 1 cup strawberries
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • Organic honey

Directions

For the Red, White & Blue pops, all you have to do is purée each kind of berry separately, then swirl it into yogurt or pour it into popsicle molds in red, white and blue layers. I used a blender, but you can also use a food processor. Freeze for 1-3 hours and enjoy!

Depending on your diet, you can substitute the yogurt for greek yogurt or a dairy free alternative. I also recommend finding a local raw honey. I use local honey to help relieve my allergies. It’s also packed with tons of antioxidants, vitamins & nutrients. I’ve also read that raw honey can help promote digestive health and boost your immune system, so it’s a no brainer!

  • 1 CUP STRAWBERRIES
  • 1 CUP BLUEBERRIES
  • 3 TBS ORGANIC HONEY

Instructions

  • FOR THE RED, WHITE & BLUE POPS, ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS PURÉE EACH KIND OF BERRY SEPARATELY, THEN SWIRL IT INTO YOGURT OR POUR IT INTO POPSICLE MOLDS. I RECOMMEND ADDING A TABLESPOON OF HONEY TO EACH.
  • YOU CAN ALSO LAYER THE FLAVORS IN RED, WHITE AND BLUE LAYERS. FREEZE FOR 1-3 HOURS AND ENJOY!
