what is a gallery wall?
A gallery wall is basically a collection of photos arranged on a wall. it can be framed artwork, photographs, prints, objects or personal treasures, all hung in a group.
Gallery walls have become super popular in recent years. if you’re on pinterest, you’ve seen them!
creating a gallery wall is a great way to update your interior design scheme. it’s also a great way to spice up a bland wall and give your decor an update.
Deciding on a gallery wall that fits your aesthetic & area isn’t always easy, so here are some ideas and tips!
where do i start?
planning is key. i don’t recommend throwing random stuff together when creating a gallery wall.
to put together a well designed gallery wall, Experiment on paper first. Trace the frames on paper and hang them on the wall with painters tape. if you don’t have kraft paper,
I RECOMMEND DOING THIS BEFORE HANGING ANY GALLERY. you can use wrapping paper too. you can move them around and experiment MIXING AND MATCHING with different configurations before commitTing.
what kind of art should i hang?
Option 1 – Go the diy route and find photos you love, that inspire you or are from your memories.
Option 2 – skip the work and buy a curated collection.

put a gallery wall near A staircase, above your couch in the LIVING room, in an entryway, above a bed or down a hallway!
