Get In My Belly: 3 Ingredient Cake Batter Ice Cream
So over here in Merica’ we’re celebrating the good ol’ 4th of July in a few days.
What better way to celebrate than with some uber decadent ice cream? Because nothing says USA like some over the top, sugary goodness!
In this week’s edition of Erin’s Ice Cream, I give you: CAKE BATTER ICE CREAM!
That’s right… this shiz tastes like straight up frozen cake batter. You know when you secretly lick the spoon while baking a cake? Think that… but frozen and extra fluffy.
One of the coolest parts of this recipe is that it’s not only SUPER easy to make, but super inexpensive!
Just like my other Ice Cream recipes, it’s got a 2 ingredient base.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- 1 14-ounce can of Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 2 cups of Heavy Whipping Cream
- 1 cup of Funfetti Cake Mix
- Extra Sprinkles if you’re feeling feisty
Step One: In an electric stand mixer (or using a handheld mixer), beat the Heavy Cream until stiff peaks form.
Step Two: Pour in the Sweetend Condensed Milk and mix slowly.
Step Three: Add in the Funfetti Cake Mix.
Step Four: Add extra Sprinkles & Freeze for 6+ hours.
I got the killer Ice Cream tub from Tovolo recently. Definitely an upgrade from my old ghetto tupperware.
