Revenge of the Fangirl: Comic Con & MTV
This past week has been CRAZY! And by crazy I mean action packed, full of fun & excitement. Not only was it COMIC CON but I also got to go to the MTV Fandom Awards!
So I thought it would be fun to give a little recap of my adventures? Better late than never, right?
Ok, so I had no idea what the MTV Fandom Awards were. Not sure if that makes me super old and lame, or maybe it’s just because I don’t have cable anymore? So anyways… my boyfriend’s band played the awards, which was so insanely cool. I can’t even put into words how proud I am of him and the band. It’s awesome seeing hard work pay off! I was so stressed out, I found out last minute and had no idea what to wear. I went to the mall and literally went to EVERY store. I get so overwhelmed by all of the sales going on. It’s impossible to find anything (that’s why I usually shop online). Is it any surprise that I found a dress at Forever 21? I’ve gotten a lot of questions about the dress I wore and it was literally under $25. I had a ton of people asking if it was from another high end brand (that normally would cost $200+). But nope, good ol’ Forever 21 never lets me down! You can buy the dress here! 
Ok, can we talk about what babes my friends are? Alysha & Danielle are uber hot and some of the sweetest girls I know.
Oh, did I mention what cute my boyfriend is? Yea. Mega babe. So happy I get to spend a few weeks of downtime with him before he leaves again!
Apparently the Fandom Awards coincide with Comic Con, which totally makes sense. So the next day me and my boo hit up Comic Con. You may have picked up on my super nerdy obsession with things like Star Wars, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, all things superhero, etc…
The obsession is real. I can’t event tell you how much I geek out at Comic Con. We literally walked up and down every single aisle. Checking for new toys, nerdy t-shirts, limited edition releases, sneak peeks…
A few things I’m super excited for:
Luke Cage (click the link for the trailer) aka Power Man. He’s married to Jessica Jones, which means he has to be cool, set in the Marvel Universe.
Justice League ahhh Khal Drogo as Aquaman!?
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them I mean do I really need to explain my need for more Harry Potter-esque magic?
Legends of the Hidden Temple Dead. Literally one of my fave shows as a kid. FINALLY.
Last but not least… for those asking about my dress, I got it from Black Milk and it’s been discontinued. But here is a cheap Amazon version that looks exactly the same!
