FALL IS HERE (in my best Oprah voice). Who else is excited for all things fall!? Ok, so I live in San Diego and it was 84 degrees out, but whatevs.

Fall means all of my favorite things: endless pumpkin flavored treats, sweaters, leggings, cozy time, rain (sometimes), halloween decorations (hell yea) and all finally… JACKETS!

Fall Fashion Staples

So excited to bust out all of my jackets. Especially leather (or vegan leather) ones! My go to recently has been THIS one from Forever 21 and it’s only $25!  I’ve actually been traveling a lot lately and it’s come in super handy! It’s light weight enough that you can wear it when it’s just a little chilly out, or layer it with a sweater/sweatshirt for extra warmth. The best part is that you can wear them with everything. LITERALLY. I got this $25 one as a test run to see if it was worth investing in a more “long term jacket relationship” and I realized I would wear it like every day. I just got a fancy new one, so my trusty F21 pick will get retired. But, the moral of the story is that you can find some super cute leather jackets for a great deal right now!

I love layering a flannel under it or throwing it on over my waist. This one from H&M was only $18, I sized up to give it a more comfortable/loose look. I also love the whole “girlfriend jean” trend because they’re super comfortable and flattering. I get a ton of questions about my shoes whenever I wear them & they’re my good ol’, trusty T.U.K. Creepers! Beware, they’re super uncomfortable at first, so wear thick socks! But after you break them in, they’ll last forever!

The great thing about all of these pieces is that you can mix and match them and wear them with basically anything. You can use the leather jacket to add a little edge to a dress for date night. Make a little black dress a little more causal by adding the flannel and creepers. Or wear the girlfriend jeans with just about anything!
