If you’ve been following me for a while, you know how I feel about Cabo. It’s my favorite place for so many reasons. Tony & I went on our first trip ten years ago in Cabo, it’s where we go every year for our anniversary, it’s where we got engaged & it’s where we got married!
We got engaged at the most beautiful location at Grand Velas Los Cabos & recently had the chance to go back for a quick vacation before our schedules get crazy again this spring and summer. Rather than overload you with one giant blog post of our trip, I’m starting with the good stuff…

There are different room options to choose from when booking Grand Velas, but one thing you can guarantee is a show stopping view! It’s an all suite, all ocean view resort. Meaning there are no bad views!
All suites also come with a personal 24-hour butler concierge.
This is a luxury all inclusive resort – meaning all food & beverages are included. Including the resort’s gourmet signature restaurants, room service & all drinks.
We stayed in a Grand Class Corner Suite. There are two different types of Grand Class Suites, which are essentially the same, but have different locations in the hotel. The corner suites are located in the corners, giving them the ultimate panoramic view of the ocean.

I absolutely loved the setup of this room. The TV is on a “lazy Susan” style platform that allows you to swivel it around & watch from the living room or bedroom area. Pro tip: you can also swivel it halfway either direction & watch it from the balcony or bathtub!
One of my favorite “hacks” for getting cozy in a hotel room is to order an extra blanket if there’s a couch or sitting area to watch TV. It immediately feels more comfortable watching TV with blankets!
There is an amazing coffee shop just off of the lobby that’s open all day & in the evening where you can get drinks & snacks (all included). But the room also comes fully stocked & equipped with Nespresso & tea. You can also order additional cream or milk to use & store it in the refrigerator.
The mini bar was always stocked with drinks & amazing snacks too!
The bathroom deserved it’s own tour because it was literally my dream! If the shower wasn’t amazing on it’s own, the giant bath tub / jacuzzi put it over the edge!
I really appreciated having a vanity to get ready at. I feel like I always end up getting ready in some weird area where I can find a full mirror in my hotel rooms. The toiletries provided were also amazing – I’m a huge L’occitane fan & can’t remember the last time I saw a miniature mouth wash provided!
Obviously the view from our room & every area of the resort was amazing. I think the way the rooms are set up really sets Grand Velas apart from other resorts – there are no bad views. You’re not accidentally going to get stuck in a room that overlooks a parking structure.
The patio / balcony / plunge pool was by far my favorite part of the room though. It was absolutely stunning. I mean, pictures don’t do it justice… and the pictures look amazing! We loved going down to the resort pools, but it was so relaxing being able to hang out with the doors of our room completely open & see the ocean.
Hands down, my favorite room I’ve ever stayed in at my favorite resort. As I mentioned, the private terrace with a plunge pool was a show stopper & I can’t recommend booking a similar room with more enthusiasm. Simply perfection!
