How to Make DIY Disco Ball Easter Eggs
Last year I made super sassy boujee designer easter eggs. I wanted to keep the tradition of making over the top eggs alive, so this year I made one of my favorite DIY projects yet… Disco Ball Easter Eggs!!!
How to Make DIY Disco Ball Easter Eggs
I won’t stop till I get enough sparkly seasonal decor in our house. Did you catch the MJ reference? Don’t worry, I’ll hide more stupid disco song “easter eggs” throughout the post. HA! I make myself laugh.
Anyways… this DIY is super easy!
Remember the DIY Disco Ball Vase tutorial I posted? Well this is basically the same thing! But instead of covering a vase in little mirrored stickers, you use plastic easter eggs!
It’s pretty straight forward… grab a sheet of mirrored stickers and some scissors. The mirrors come on easy to use sticker sheets, so you just peel the back off and start stickin!
Take Your Time, Do It Right…
I cut the sheets into smaller pieces, I found that cutting them into rows of 2 to start was easiest. If you want to be able to open the easter eggs to put treats inside, separate the sides before you start adding the strips.
Take your time lining the rows up as you go and pushing the stickers down. As the edges start to curve more, it’s easier to work with smaller squares or lines of mirrors.
You might need to angle them a bit to make the edges look more rounded. Just tear the little strips into smaller pieces as you go.
A Few More Tips
Here’s a little video to help show you how I made them!
