How To Make Your Own Freakshake
I recommend starting with a simple ice cream base. Chocolate or Vanilla are usually the best to start. Then, pick a milk. If you’re dairy free/lactose intolerant, you can use soy or almond milk with dairy free ice cream. I like to use 2% milk in my creations. Then, think about different sauces and flavors for blending in. Maybe it’s some crushed up cookies, cereal or pieces of your favorite candy bar.
After you’ve blended all of your ingredients, you’ll want to grab a giant glass. Before pouring anything in, you’ll want to rim the glass with something sticky like marshmallow fluff, chocolate sauce, peanut butter or frosting. That way, you can stick your favorite treats to the side! To top it off, add some whipped cream and more decorations! Don’t forget a spoon & straw!
Erin’s Extreme Cereal Milk Milkshake Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup of Malt-O-Meal Double Chocolate Brownie Crunch
- 1 1/4 cup of milk (I used 2%, but you can use any type)
- 4 large scoops of vanilla ice cream (let it soften before scooping)
- Marshmallow Fluff
- Whipped Cream
- Chocolate Fudge
Directions
-
- Soak your cereal in 1 cup of the milk for at least 20 minutes in the refrigerator.
-
- Add the cereal milk to your blender with the extra ¼ cup of milk and vanilla ice cream. Add 2 large tablespoons of marshmallow fluff.
-
- Blend on liquefy until it’s smooth but still thick. Add 1 tablespoon of milk at a time if needed for blending.
- Using a knife, spread a decent amount of marshmallow fluff along the rim of your glass. You can also use chocolate frosting if you have it on hand! Then, gently press some of your cereal onto the rim of the glass.
- Pour the shake into the glass and top with whipped cream & fudge!
