Euro Trip 2016

Hey friends!! I’m back! And I’m so excited to share more about my trip with you! There’s something about traveling alone that is really motivating and empowering. I flew to Europe last week to meet my boyfriend and had the best time! At the end of the day, I have fun everywhere I go to visit him, but being able to go to Europe for a week to explore is definitely memorable!

A lot of people asked why I only flew out for a week & why I went alone. There are a few reasons, but mainly because I’m so busy with work! I’m lucky to be able to work from anywhere, but I had to get back a bit early to get business ready for the holidays! We’re also on a bus when we travel, which can get a little cramped, so I try to find a good balance of time so that I’m not breathing down everyone’s necks, spreading my stuff out for weeks a time! I actually really enjoy flying alone, it gives me a chance to get caught up on work!

I made this fun little interactive travel map to share the cities I went to!Β It was cool to see so many different places in such a short amount of time. Normally, when people travel they stay in a city for at least a few days, but we were in a different city every day! I’d never been to Sweden or Denmark, so it was fun getting to add those stamps to my passport! Not to mention how awesome it was getting to visit Denmark, where most of my family is from!

I flew into Stockholm and stayed at a really awesome, cheap hotel called Motel L. Super modern, which I’m a huge fan of. I got in pretty late and it was snowing, so I just went next door for dinner at Pipes of Scotland. I hit the jackpot and got the most kickass burger & sweet potato fries. The next day, I got to meet up with my boyfriend and start our trek to Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Cologne, Bochum & Frankfurt!
