Metallic Monday Must Haves

Happy Metal Monday friends!

This week, I’m giving you my 3 Monday Must Haves… and of course, they’re all inspired by my love of, you guessed it… all things metal.

All Things Metal – Metallic Nails

METALLICNAILS Ok, so this isn’t totally a new thing. But can you blame me? I am obsessed with metallic nails right now. THIS multi chrome color shifting nail polish is insane. Not only is it metallic… it has an ombre effect that looks different in different lighting!

Amon Amarth’s New Album – Jomsviking

Ok, so remember how I told you recently I wanted to start talking about more of the stuff I like? This is where the magic happens. I’m a long time Amon Amarth fan and their latest album is a crowd pleaser. I’m going to preface this by saying that it’s not a groundbreaking release. For anyone who complains that bands keep putting out the same type of music… I hate to break it to you, but this is what they do. I think it’s safe to say they’re one of the bigger melodic death metal bands and they know what they’re doing. Meaning, if you’re in any way aware of what they sound like… their latest album is just that. I highly recommend it for a jog around the neighborhood or a quick road trip!

Ok, so you’re probably asking yourself… how does this have anything to do with metal? It doesn’t really. BUT, I got this super awesome floral dress from them and they’ve got a great assortment of what I call “rock chic”. It’s less grunge and more glam. I’m all about casual dresses, leather booties, muscle tanks & chunky jewelry. For every dress yin, there is a sneaker yang. 99% of the time I’m wearing all black everything, so when I find something black with a hint of color that I like, I buy it! So you’re saying “Erin, flowers aren’t rock & roll”. I beg to differ. Have you ever heard “Amaryllis” by Shinedown? Every rose really does have it’s thorn… and I’m here to say that you can totally rock corpse paint and a nice summer dress any day of the week.
