Berries and Cream Crescent Bars Easy Dessert Hack

Berries and Cream Crescent Bars

Berry cream cheese dessert bars are the perfect combination of creamy, sweet, tart & buttery! They’re perfect with a cup of coffee or tea & can be adapted easily using dairy free cream cheese or any flavor of jam!

This easy dessert comes together in about 30 minutes, making it a great last minute dessert for brunch or a potluck. You only need 4 ingredients and there’s no mixing or major measuring involved! It’s safe to say, as long as you know how to turn on the oven & set a timer, this recipe is foolproof!

Ingredients

  • 2 cans of crescent rolls
  • 1 (7.5 oz) container of whipped mixed berry cream cheese
  • 1 cup raspberry jam (or your favorite berry flavor)
  • 2 tbs melted butter
  • Âź cup sugar

Directions

Preheat your oven to 375°. Lightly spray a baking dish or cookie sheet with cooking spray, or line with parchment paper.

Unroll 1 can of crescent dough, and press it into the bottom of the prepared pan. Brush with a little butter & bake for 10 minutes.

Remove from the oven & spread your cream cheese evenly over the top of the baked dough. Then add dollops of jam on top and spread. I like to leave the jam in bigger “blobs” so you get bites of jam rather than evenly spreading it across the top.

Unroll remaining can of crescent dough on top. Brush with the remaining butter and sprinkle with sugar.

Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool for at least 15 minutes before cutting into squares to serve. Bonus tip: you can also reheat each individual square in a toaster oven for a couple of minutes to serve warm!
