Holiday Recap Randomness

Ahh Christmas is over. It’s kind of bittersweet. The chaos is over, but it feels a little sad. All of our decorations are put away and we’re gearing up for our annual New Years shindig. This past week was so much fun and I’m so grateful for all of the amazing friends and family I got to spend it with. How cute is Doug btw? He looks like such an unhappy camper in our Family Christmas pic. I swear he had a good time.  I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite randomness with you from this past week. We went to our friend’s annual White Elephant Christmas party a few days before Christmas. It’s so crazy how every party has a “photo area” nowadays, right? Like- it didn’t happen if you can’t post about it on Instagram. I brought my Dad who was in town for the holidays. It was really fun to get to introduce him to all of our random friends and everyone else’s parents.  I was a baking machine all week. I literally made like 10 types of cookies for friends, family, parties, Christmas Eve & Christmas. I made some super cute Sugar Cookies that I’m still eating (as we speak) to carry on the holiday magic. I love this recipe from my girl Martha Stewart. You can find cute glitter sprinkles at the craft store or on Amazon.  Cake Necklace If you’re not following me on Instagram, I did a super fun giveaway with Mimi & Lu this week. They have the cutest little necklaces. This one says “Cake“, so I obviously needed one for myself. They have others that say things like Beer, Coffee, Wine, Tacos… making them the greatest bestie gift ever.  Hair Extensions Real Talk: I’ve been getting a lot of hair questions lately. No, my hair isn’t naturally this luxurious and perfect. It’s a weave baby. Not really a weave, but Hidden Crown Hair Extensions!! These aren’t your average hair extension ladies. There are no clips, no glue, no hassle… they’re literally on a “halo”/invisible wire. It takes about 30 seconds and you’re good to go. I love that they don’t pull on my hair like my old clip ins. The hair is super soft and they have a ton of colors for matching. I went with the 16″ version, but you can get 12″ or 14″ if your hair is shorter (for easier blending) or 18″ or 20” for extreme mermaid locks. Marble Watch Marble Watch Marble Watch I’ve also been getting a ton of questions about the watch I’ve been wearing lately. That’s right… it’s MARBLE! Aesthetic goals. I have a few other Cluse Watches, but this Marble one is by far my favorite!
